[edit]Ralph Nader became a far more controversial figure from the 1970s onwards, and it wasn't just his presidential campaigns either.
I will be general here and go into more detail if I get feedback from an Admin interested in getting more into the controversies I will list.
1. In the 1982 Connecticut aenate election, he endorsed the Republican candidate Lowell Weicker against a former family friend in Democratic former Congressman Moffet, and Moffer blamed Nader for tipping the balance out of spite over a disagreement on a bill.
2. Allegations that despite how much money he and his organizations had made, he often paid low wages and was incredibly vindictive towards anyone who left because they could not afford to work for him anymore.
3. He has been said, by many associates ex-employees, and their families, to have been been very indicative, underhanded in regards to the operations and management of his agencies and charities.
Here is a quick secondary Source on his Controversies.

- Partly done: I removed the author link parameter due to WP:EGG concerns. If an article on Burt ends up getting written it can be linked then. DrOrinScrivello (talk) 18:57, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
